It is!! My little girl LOVES anything handwork…especially knitting. Every Wednesday a couple of other passionate knitters meet here at the barn. A teacher comes to provide assistance and we all pitch in for her fee. It’s really a cool thing. And I love seeing my 8 year old hang and “knit talk” with ladies in their 50 s and 60’s. She fits right in and it reminds me that we all have so much to learn and enjoy from each other…it shouldn’t be limited by age groups or any other “group” for that matter 🙂

I agree, everything about this sounds fabulous. I’ve been thinking of starting a stitch circle around here and I love the idea of mixed ages. So much is exchanged when our hands are busy somehow, like our hearts are more free to share.
