Acknowledging Earth day in a way that made me want to take a slower pace today
Finding ladybugs and making a habitat (for 24 hours), reading a beautiful book, creating flowers and then letting my daughter’s imagination and some extra paper create whatever comes to mind
Can you find the child hidden in this picture?
A finished basket weave dishcloth at the knitting group…done by my daughter. Just after I snapped the pic, she snatched it away and said that I’m “not allowed to see it again until Mother’s day”.
So much to honor in this beautiful little day on our beautiful little earth
Nice photos.

Beautiful, very mindful day… I’m afraid we let Earth Day slip away from us a bit considering the pouring rain and many obligations. But I like to think that everyday is Earth Day and I’m sure I’ll get to make up for it very soon. đŸ™‚

I completely agree…everyday is earth day. This day wasn’t too out of the ordinary for us other than planning a particular book about conservation. The lady bugging was completely thought up by my girl and spontaneously turned into a great learning experience. Isn’t it always the best that way? đŸ™‚

Those are some pretty good tree climbers you have! I love those kind of projects–the ones we’re supposed to pretend we don’t know about, even though we witnessed the entire creative process đŸ˜‰ Happy Earth Day!

Yes! Oh and the tree climber. I never really thought she could get too high so wasn’t worried. Then walked out, saw this, had a moment of panic, then was actually quite impressed…so snapped a photo!

As long as you’ve found it now, that’s all that matters!
