Oh I want chickens so badly!!!! Another couple of years to finish the renos on the house and we are in! Cuties… What kind are they?

Americaunas. Nicknamed the “Easter egg chickens” for the colorful eggs they lay. We did quite a bit of research on which breed to go with, and we’re happy with the choice.

I’ll hear they do well in the winters, we get pretty cold here too. I’ll have to let you know. I figure we can always put in a heat lamp when it gets bad.
