Either you are expecting a lot of post or you’ve made a lovely discovery – that first one in particular is beautiful. We don’t have mailboxes like that, just letter boxes in the front door and I think we may be missing out!

This is part of a long row of old mailboxes down the highway from us. It was so interesting and beautiful with the open landscape behind it, I had to pull over and take some photos of them.

No kidding! I always think that when I see these long rows of mailboxes and one stands out, painted a bright color or something different about it like this one…I always wonder about the person that owns THAT mailbox. This one is unique and, yet, neglected which seemed nostalgic to me.
